Welcome to Beyond-Counseling! My name is Tamara Sabbagh, a registered clinical social worker in the state of Florida. I have over 8 years of experience successfully helping adults, children/teens, and families restore their mental wellbeing.
Individual counseling helps people explore their emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and
symptoms in a safe therapeutic environment. Together we navigate the counseling
process at your pace and preferred direction. My goal as your therapist is to collaborate
a personalized treatment plan that meets your lifestyle and counseling needs. I utilize
evidence based practices such as cbt, trauma focused, solution focused techniques,
and existential based practices to help you reach your fullest and truest potential. I am

Children and Adolescents:

adolescents find tools that make them feel better while building a successful future. My
playful, down to earth, and humorous style allows me to connect easily and quickly with
your child or teen. My approach invites a safe therapeutic space for children/teens to
express and process their thoughts and feelings.
I specialize in treating an array of childhood disorders. I utilize evidence based
therapeutic approaches such as play and art therapy, cbt, behavioral therapy, yoga
therapy, and narrative therapy. These approaches can help your child develop healthier
ways of thinking, behaving, and coping. Families also learn tools to help their child
manage their symptoms, strengthen parenting skills, and reconnect with their child.

I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from Barry University from
2008-2020. I am a Florida Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern, License number,
ISW15100. My post-graduate experience included extensive clinical work with children,
adolescents, adults, and families struggling with diverse mental health conditions in both
outpatient and private practice settings. Furthermore, I received my certification from
PEPSI as a clinical trauma professional, CCTP. I am passionate about using my
knowledge and experiences to help others succeed in their lives.
