Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Registered Art Therapist (ATR). I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s in psychology and Studio Art in 2014. In 2016, I received my Master’s in Art Therapy from Florida State University. This program allowed me to learn about both traditional counseling, as well as art therapy. I am currently working on a dissertation, as part of a PhD in Special Education from Barry University.

From 2016 to 2020, I worked as an EBD Clinician/Art Therapist for Miami-Dade Public Schools. I provided counseling and art therapy services to students with disabilities, primarily ADHD and ASD.  Services included individual sessions, group sessions, and parent conferences. I gained experience working with diverse clients and families as part of an interdisciplinary team. I emphasized rapport with my clients to help them gain significant progress through communication, trust, and engagement.

From 2020 until 2022, I worked as a counselor and art therapist at a private practice in the Atlanta area. I provided individual, group, and family counseling to children and teens. I utilized art, books, music, and any other creative media that could help my clients gain skills and understanding related to their interpersonal and intrapersonal goals.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as behavioral techniques, including art therapy directives, to help my clients reach their social and emotional goals. By building rapport and utilizing engaging art activities, I can help clients work towards their individual goals.
