Hello, my name is Priscila Estep and I am a registered mental health counselor intern in Florida. Whether you are experiencing relationship distress, life transitions, difficult circumstances, or major trauma, I see the process of therapy as a way to help you gain support, insight, and healing in your journey. My goal is to offer a non-judgmental and safe space that encourages my clients to make healthy choices and improve the overall quality of their lives.

I earned my master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling in the state of Ohio. As a registered intern, I have experience with adults and adolescents in different settings including high schools and university counseling centers.  I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress management, academic challenges, self-esteem issues, and adjustment to new environments. 
During therapy, I prefer to use different theories and techniques since everyone has unique experiences and personalities. I strongly believe that the relationship between the therapist and client is one of the most important predictors of success in therapy. Also, I strive to work collaboratively with clients to implement new coping strategies, explore new perspectives, and generate new experiences that reduce their anxiety and emotional suffering.
